Your role
We are looking for an experienced AI Automation Developer to develop, test and implement automation solutions using RPA (Robotic Process Automation), Python and AI/Agentic AI technologies to streamline and optimize business processes.
In this role, you will work within the RPA/AI environment and assist in controlling automated solutions. With expected strong expertise in Process Automation and AI possibilities, you will provide guidance on code stages, propose automation and AI strategies, and design advanced objects and frameworks to integrate new technologies.
Work Location: Brno, hybrid working (up to 3 days of HO/week)

What You Will Do
- Standardize and propose improvements to Brno FSC (Finance Shared Centre) & CT BA (Compressor Technique business area) processes through Process Automation and AI solutions
- Develop automations in RPA, Python and other automation tools, including integration of AI and Agentic AI solutions, in cooperation with Process & Innovation teams and operations
- Support data integrations, APIs and access frameworks while ensuring compliance and governance
- Design data foundations supporting autonomous AI agents and next-generation intelligent automation solutions
- Analyze available data to identify opportunities for Automation and AI improvements
- Collaborate with team members, share knowledge and establish frameworks for new automation and AI tools
- Create and maintain documentation
- Cooperate with other RPA/AI teams across Atlas Copco
- Promote and support ongoing operational, system and process changes
- Support the adoption of modern technologies such as Power BI, SharePoint, RPA and AI
- Continuously develop expertise through trainings and learning opportunities
To succeed, you will need
Education: Secondary or higher education in an IT or technical field
Experience:
4+ years of experience in RPA/Automation development, including practical experience integrating AI/LLM models into automation solutions.
Technical Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of RPA tools such as UiPath or Blue Prism
- Strong understanding of automation development best practices
- Strong proficiency in Python (production-level code)
- Experience with APIs, databases and cloud services, preferably Azure
Additional Skills:
- Ability to design scalable and reusable automation frameworks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with automation governance and compliance
- Detail-oriented approach
- Flexible and proactive mindset
- Practical experience integrating AI/LLM APIs (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio) into automation solutions is a strong advantage
Language:
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills in English
