Are Your Our Next Service Center Manager?

 

As a Service Center Manager at Atlas Copco, you will lead the day-to-day operations of our service center, including order processing, warranty claims, and inventory management, while collaborating with our team to identify growth opportunities across regions. You’ll have the autonomy to shape service operations and set strategic goals, all while inspiring a dedicated, results-driven team.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and manage the service center team to achieve goals, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Foster a collaborative, innovative environment that encourages problem-solving and idea generation.
  • Oversee technical knowledge levels to meet customer and contract requirements, ensuring high service standards.
  • Continuously analyze and improve processes, procedures, and strategies to drive operational excellence.
  • Set clear goals for team members aligned with corporate targets, providing mentorship and guidance.
  • Evaluate team performance, ensuring objectives and project goals are met.
  • Identify and develop future leaders within the Atlas Copco Service Department.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Take ownership of service center operations, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning and adherence to industry standards.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance service center capabilities and position the service department for future growth.
  • Coach and inspire a team of technical professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and excellence.
  • Drive the performance of your region by developing and executing process optimization strategies.

To succeed, you will need

  • A 2- or 4-year degree in a technical or management discipline, with 3-5 years of leadership experience.
  • Proven success in budget management, KPI achievement, and process improvement.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a clear understanding of service obligations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Basic knowledge of Atlas Copco fastening tools, torque theory, and fastening processes.
  • Expertise in process management, inventory control, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to resolve technical, production, and personnel issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Practical leadership style with a commitment to continuous learning and innovation.
  • A resourceful, customer-focused mindset with the ability to challenge traditional business practices.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% local travel consisting of but not limited to visits to customer manufacturing locations.
