As our Regional Operations Manager for Southeast Europe, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Service Operations organization. Reporting to the Regional CSO Business Line Manager, you will lead and develop the Service Management organization across the region, ensuring our teams consistently deliver safe, profitable, and customer-focused service solutions.
In this highly visible leadership role, you will work closely with Customer Service, Technical Support, Sales, HR, and Business Control teams to drive operational performance, develop talent, foster a strong safety culture, and support sustainable business growth. Through your leadership, you will help Atlas Copco remain First in Mind – First in Choice for our customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, coaching, and developing Service Managers across Southeast Europe.
- Driving operational excellence through KPI management, performance coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Supporting efficient workforce planning and optimization of Field Service Engineer resources.
- Enhancing productivity, utilization, service quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with Atlas Copco standards and legal requirements.
- Driving competence development, certification compliance, and career growth programs for Service Managers and Field Service Engineers.
- Managing operational reviews, best-practice sharing, and regional transformation initiatives.
- Collaborating with Customer Service, Technical Support, and Sales teams to continuously improve service delivery.
- Supporting recruitment, succession planning, and talent development across the regional service organization.
To succeed, you will need
We are looking for a strong and people-focused leader who combines operational expertise with the ability to inspire teams and drive change.
You bring:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Service Operations.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a people management role.
- Proven experience leading field service organizations and operational teams.
- Experience driving performance improvement, workforce development, and organizational change.
- Experience working in a multinational and regional environment is considered an advantage.
- Strong understanding of service operations and field service execution.
- Experience using operational KPIs to drive performance and business results.
- Knowledge of workforce planning, utilization management, and resource optimization.
- Customer-centric mindset with a strong focus on service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of SAP, MAM2, and other operational systems.
- Understanding of safety standards, risk management, and quality processes.
- Fluency in English. Native-level proficiency in the local language of the country where the position is based.

Job location
Southeast Europe RegionPreferred location: Athens, Greece (other locations within the Southeast Europe region may be considered).
This role requires regular travel within the region and occasional international travel.
