Your day-to-day
- You are responsible for inspecting and maintaining automated tightening systems, industrial tools, controllers, as well as measuring and testing equipment directly at our customers’ sites
- Using your technical expertise, you integrate and commission our products within existing customer systems and networks
- Your responsibilities also include carrying out maintenance and repair work, as well as independently documenting all work processes for quality assurance purposes
- With your expertise, you provide our customers with professional advice, deliver training, and support them as part of our after-sales service
Your skills and experience
- You have completed technical vocational training, for example as a mechatronics technician, electronics technician, or hold a comparable qualification
- You have in-depth knowledge of setting up and operating computer networks, such as Ethernet and Wi-Fi
- Ideally, you already have experience in PLC technology, maintenance, commissioning, or delivering customer training
- You enjoy being on the road and are willing to travel for service assignments lasting several days
- You are open-minded, a strong communicator, and enjoy working with people

Your job location
You will be part of our customer center in Essen, Germany. You join a field service team that works close to our customers, where most of your time is spent traveling within your assigned area to support them on-site.

Our selection process includes two interviews. We look forward to getting to know you, learning about your strengths, and discussing how you can grow with us. For each hiring decision, we also apply the grandparent principle. This means that a leader’s manager is involved in the approval of the hiring decision to ensure consistency and fairness.
