Your role
As an Accountant, you will support accurate and timely financial reporting for Atlas Copco Vacuum Technique entities across the EMEA region. You will be involved in month-end closing, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, reporting, and process improvement activities while working closely with colleagues across Finance and the business.
What will you do?
- Support month-end closing and IFRS reporting activities.
- Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries, accruals, and corrections.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and financial analyses.
- Book payroll-related transactions and prepare relevant reports.
- Support statutory reporting, tax packs, and audit activities.
- Resolve SAP-related queries and perform accounting analyses.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial records.
- Contribute to process improvements, knowledge sharing, and team development.
To succeed, you will need
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in AP, AR, or General Ledger accounting.
- Good understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Secondary or university education in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Advanced MS Excel skills; SAP knowledge is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive, customer-oriented, and team-focused approach.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and continuously seek improvements.
