Your role

Are you passionate about industrial automation and would you like to work on complete automated production lines for international customers? Join our Automation Excellence Center in Brno and become part of a team delivering innovative automation solutions from software development through commissioning and final customer handover.

What you'll do

• Develop and program PLC software for automated production lines.
• Commission and optimize automation systems at customer sites across Europe.
• Work with Siemens TIA Portal, safety systems and industrial communication.
• Integrate PLC applications with HMI, IO systems, sensors, drives and external automation technologies.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and improve machine performance during project execution.
• Cooperate closely with electrical designers, robot programmers and vision engineers.
• Support FAT, commissioning and customer acceptance of new production equipment.

To succeed, you will need

• Technical education in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in PLC programming or industrial automation.
• Knowledge of IEC 61131-3 programming standards.
• Ability to read electrical documentation and understand automation principles.
• Knowledge of Siemens PLC systems is highly preferred.
• Communicative English.
• Driving license and willingness to travel for commissioning and customer support.
•  Proactive, practical and team-oriented mindset.
  
  

Nice to have

• Experience with CODESYS-based PLC platforms is welcome and considered an advantage.
• Experience with robotics integration.
• Knowledge of machine vision technologies.
• Experience with safety PLC applications.
• Knowledge of EPLAN electrical documentation.
• Experience within automotive manufacturing.
