Your role
We are looking for a Senior Power BI Developer to join the CODA team and play a key role in the digital transformation of Group Reporting analytics at Atlas Copco. CODA is a strategic, group-wide data analytics platform that brings together Sales, Finance and ESG data to provide trusted, transparent and near real-time insights through Power BI and AI initiatives. By enabling more consistent, scalable and data-driven reporting, CODA strives to support better decision-making across users in Group, Business Areas, Divisions and Entities.
As CODA continues to evolve into a multi-product platform, this role will help deliver secure, high-quality Power BI solutions in line with the CODA roadmap. The focus will be on translating business requirements and complex data into reliable reports, dashboards and semantic models that create value and support data-driven decisions across the business.
Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into clear Power BI solutions for CODA.
- Design, develop, deploy and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards and semantic models.
- Build robust data models, DAX measures and Power Query/SQL transformations.
- Implement RLS, optimise performance for big data and ensure solutions follow enterprise standards.
- Support users, troubleshoot issues and continuously improve existing Power BI solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional analysts, data engineers and technical teams.
- Challenge unclear requirements, explain technical constraints, offering alternative solutions where possible, and ensure trusted reporting outputs.
- Prepare documentation, guidance and training material to support adoption and maintainability.
- Coach and mentor junior colleagues, promoting Power BI, data modelling and visualisation best practices.
To succeed, you will need

- Minimum 5 years' BI experience, including 4+ years strong hands-on Power BI development.
- Experience delivering enterprise Power BI reports, dashboards, semantic models and optimizing large data models.
- Advanced Power BI Desktop and Service, including report development, publishing, refresh, workspace usage and capacity monitoring.
- Strong DAX, SQL, Power Query/M, data modelling and semantic model design skills.
- Experience with RLS, performance optimisation, DirectQuery and enterprise reporting standards.
- Familiarity with Data Lake, Databricks, Azure DevOps, Git, deployment pipelines, working with Jira and Agile is a plus.
- Effective adoption of AI in development work is also considered a plus.
- Excellent English (oral and written).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Able to explain technical topics clearly to business stakeholders and challenge unclear requirements constructively.
- Structured, proactive, quality-focused and able to work with limited supervision.
- Coaches and mentors junior colleagues in Power BI and data modelling best practices.
