Start your engineering career. Build global experience. Make an impact.
Start date: September 2027
Applications close: 31 December 2026
Where could an engineering career with us take you?
Our Evolve Global Engineering Graduate Programme, starting in September 2027, is designed to develop the next generation of engineering talent across our Semiconductor divisions.
Through structured rotations, you’ll gain experience across different engineering disciplines, take ownership of meaningful projects and work alongside experienced colleagues to solve real business and technical challenges.
You’ll build your technical expertise while developing the commercial, professional and leadership capabilities to shape your future career with us.
Take your career global
A six-month international assignment is a core part of the Evolve experience.
You’ll have the opportunity to live and work in another country, experience a different part of our global business and build relationships and perspectives that will stay with you throughout your career.
International mobility is therefore an essential part of joining Evolve. You’ll need to be willing to relocate internationally for your six-month assignment and potentially move between locations during the programme.
What you’ll experience
Your rotations will give you exposure to a variety of engineering disciplines and project areas. Depending on business priorities and your development, these could include:
- Systems engineering and technology
- New product introduction and sustaining engineering
- Applications, service and technical support
- Test and prototyping
- Controls, software, electrical or electronic engineering
- Project management and transformation
You’ll work on real projects connected to business priorities, gaining experience across different teams and areas of our organisation.
Alongside your rotations, you’ll learn through our programme curriculum, workshops and technical training, supported by mentoring and regular feedback throughout your journey.
The difference you’ll make
From the start, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful engineering work. You’ll:
- Deliver engineering projects alongside experienced professionals and cross-functional teams.
- Apply engineering principles, data and structured problem-solving to real technical challenges.
- Support the development, testing, validation and introduction of new and improved products and technologies.
- Look for opportunities to strengthen product performance, quality and reliability.
- Contribute to innovation, sustainability, safety, manufacturability and operational performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues across Engineering, Operations, Digital Operations, Service, Quality, Procurement & Supply Chain and our global divisions and regions.
- Take ownership of your development and use the experiences you gain to help shape your future career.
What we’re looking for
You’ll have, or be on track to complete in 2027, a bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering, technology or applied science discipline, such as:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical or Electronic Engineering
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Systems Engineering
- Software Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering
- Materials Science
- Or a related discipline
More importantly, we’re looking for people who are:
- Curious, analytical and excited by engineering and technology.
- Comfortable tackling problems and exploring new ideas.
- Clear communicators who enjoy collaborating with people from different backgrounds and disciplines.
- Adaptable and open to experiencing different engineering environments, projects, teams and locations.
- Proactive about learning and taking ownership of their development.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Willing and able to undertake the programme’s six-month international assignment.
Knowledge of the semiconductor industry, vacuum technology or product development is useful, but not essential. Experience with engineering, modelling, simulation, design or data-analysis tools would also be beneficial.
Right to work
You’ll need to meet the right-to-work requirements for the country in which you are applying to join the programme.
Right-to-work requirements are separate from the programme’s international mobility requirement, which includes a six-month international assignment.
Where could Evolve take you?
By the end of the programme, you’ll have built broad technical, analytical, commercial and leadership capability, preparing you to progress into an engineering role and continue building your career with us.
Potential career pathways include Manufacturing, Systems, Development, Technology, Applications, Project, or Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
What happens next?
Applications for the Evolve Global Engineering Graduate Programme 2027 close on 31 December 2026.
If your application progresses, you’ll be invited to complete our online assessments. Successful candidates will then be invited to an in-person assessment centre at our Burgess Hill site in February 2027.
The assessment centre is also an opportunity to meet our people, learn more about Evolve and discover what a global engineering career with us could look like.
