Position Overview:
This vital role is responsible for leading the EMS Service Supply Planning function within Edwards Ltd's Semiconductor Service Division. As the EMS Service Supply Planning Lead, you will spearhead the end-to-end supply planning processes for the EMS product portfolio across global service networks. Your leadership will drive scalable and standardized governance frameworks, robust KPI management, and innovative operating models that enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness across Product Companies (PCs) and Distribution Centers (DCs). You will act as a pivotal liaison among cross-functional teams and senior management to ensure optimized supply outcomes, proactive risk mitigation, and continuous improvement aligned with the company's strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• EMS Product-Specific Supply Planning: Translate the SCM Manager's strategic direction into executable and measurable supply plans. Take full ownership of the supply planning lifecycle, from demand-supply alignment to execution across multiple regions and stakeholders, ensuring service excellence and responsiveness.
• Performance Management (KPI Ownership): Develop, implement, and continuously manage a comprehensive KPI framework to measure key performance indicators such as service level, material availability, inventory turnover, excess & obsolete stock, and lead times. Lead detailed performance reviews, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions to foster operational excellence. Utilize advanced analytics and visualization tools like Power BI for transparent reporting and decision support.
• Inventory Planning and Optimization: Strategically size, position, and rebalance inventory across Spare Parts and Service Distribution Centers, aligning closely with PCs to meet service business requirements while optimizing working capital. Leverage data-driven insights to balance customer availability targets with cost efficiency.
• Supply Deviation Management: Proactively lead the identification, escalation, and resolution of supply risks including shortages and allocation challenges. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with PCs, logistics, and service teams to resolve issues promptly and communicate potential disruptions and business impacts to stakeholders effectively.
• Process Improvement and Transformation: Partner with global Business Process Improvement (BPI) and digital teams to identify opportunities and lead initiatives for continuous process enhancement. Define system and process requirements to support transformation projects such as Distribution Center setup, supply planning standardization, and digitalization efforts to future-proof operations.
• Engineering Change and Lifecycle Management: Assess the supply chain and logistical implications of engineering changes (e.g., Service Information Bulletins, Product Introduction Bulletins, Engineering Changes). Ensure that such changes are managed with minimal disruption to service operations, maintaining high customer satisfaction.
• Freight and Cost Optimization: Analyze and optimize transportation modes and logistics networks to reduce freight costs while sustaining or improving service performance. Lead cost-efficiency programs with a view to aligning supply chain operations to financial targets.
• Leadership and Stakeholder Management: Serve as the global focal point for EMS product supply planning. Influence and collaborate with cross-regional and cross-organizational stakeholders to ensure alignment and shared objectives. Lead and develop the supply planning team with a commitment to fostering sustainable high performance, professional growth, and a culture of continuous improvement.

Preferred Knowledge & Experience:

• Minimum seven years of commercial experience in supply chain management, with proven leadership in supply planning and distribution functions.
• Strong project management skills with experience leading complex initiatives within planning or distribution contexts.
• Demonstrated strategic judgment impacting overall company performance, reflecting a high level of business acumen.
• Advanced analytical skills employing qualitative and quantitative methods to inform decision-making.
• Familiarity with service logistics and manufacturing environments is highly advantageous.
• Thorough understanding of Atlas Copco's supply chain processes from forecasting and order management to production and vendor material planning.
• Proven ability to influence management across multiple international territories and organizational levels.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills to handle complex global coordination.

Essential Skills & Technical Competencies:

• Fluent in written and spoken English to effectively communicate in an international environment.
• Proficiency with SAP ECC/APO/PAB/CRM systems, ideally with user or subject matter expertise.
• Experience or proficiency at the Power BI developer level, enabling sophisticated data visualization and performance monitoring.
• Strong competency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation.
• Certifications such as CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) and CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) are preferred.
