Job Description

Your role

Do you enjoy making complex topics clear and practical? Are you interested in combining hands-on compensation and benefits to work with the opportunity to improve processes and ways of working? We are looking for a Compensation & Benefits Specialist to join our People & Culture organization in Sweden. In this role, you will help us develop and deliver our compensation and benefits agenda, with a primary focus on Sweden and selected activities across international markets. You will work in a global organization with many different stakeholders and have the opportunity to build deeper expertise as the role develops.

This is a hands-on role where operational delivery goes together with a broader perspective. You will help make our compensation and benefits processes clear, reliable, and easy to use. A key part of your role will be to bring structure to complex topics, coordinate activities across stakeholders and turn requirements into practical solutions for People & Culture colleagues and managers. You will report to the People & Culture Manager Sweden.

Your day-to-day

  • Coordinating recurring compensation and benefits processes, with clear responsibilities, timelines, communication and follow-through.
  • Supporting variable compensation and bonus activities and building deeper expertise in this area over time.
  • Supporting the implementation and consistent use of job architecture in collaboration with local, Nordic, and Group stakeholders.
  • Working with compensation-related information and data to identify insights and translate them into clear recommendations.
  • Simplifying complex requirements and turning them into practical processes, guidance, and ways of working.
  • Driving improvement initiatives and helping establish sustainable ways of working.
  • Building effective relationships with People & Culture colleagues, managers, payroll, finance and relevant specialist communities.
  • Providing practical support on selected global mobility topics as a smaller part of your role.

You will own the day-to-day coordination, documentation, communication and continuous improvement of assigned processes. At the same time, you will contribute to process design, stakeholder alignment and the local implementation of Group frameworks.

Your skills and experience

You bring a practical foundation in compensation and benefits and are comfortable taking responsibility for defined topics.

Your experience may come from compensation and benefits, total rewards, People & Culture projects, people analytics or another role where you have gained meaningful exposure to compensation-related work. As English is our main business language, you need to be comfortable communicating clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.

We believe you will thrive in this role if you can:

  • Structure end-to-end processes and projects, clarify responsibilities and timelines, and drive work forward.
  • Work confidently with data and translate your analysis into practical recommendations.
  • Turn complex requirements into clear and usable processes or guidance.
  • Build productive relationships across functions, countries and organizational levels.
  • Explain complex subjects clearly and adapt your communication to different audiences.
  • Take ownership, follow through on commitments and raise risks or dependencies early.
  • Work confidently with operational detail while keeping broader priorities in mind.
  • Bring foundational experience with job architecture, job evaluation or salary structures.
  • Experience with variable compensation or bonus processes is an advantage

You do not need to be an expert in every area. What matters is a sound foundation, the ability to learn and the motivation to take responsibility and continue developing your expertise.
