Job Description

Shape the employee experience. Build future capability. Start a career without borders.

Start date: September 2027
Applications close: 31 December 2026

Where could a global career in People & Culture take you?

People are at the heart of our business. From attracting and developing talent to strengthening engagement, organisational capability and the employee experience, People & Culture plays an important role in helping our people and business succeed.

On our Evolve Global People & Culture Graduate Programme, you’ll complete structured rotations across key areas of the function, contribute to meaningful projects and work with colleagues, employees and business leaders around the world.

You’ll combine curiosity, insight and commercial thinking to solve real people challenges, improve how we work and help build the capabilities our global business needs for the future.

Take your career global

A six-month international assignment is a core and mandatory part of Evolve.

You’ll live and work in another country, experience a different part of our global business and build an international network and perspective early in your career.

You must be willing to relocate internationally for six months during the programme. The location and timing of your assignment will be confirmed through the programme-planning process and will be subject to the relevant immigration, work-authorisation and assignment requirements.

What you’ll experience

Your rotations may include:

  • People operations
  • Talent acquisition
  • Early careers
  • Talent management
  • Learning and development
  • Business partnering
  • Employee engagement
  • Reward
  • People analytics

You’ll work alongside experienced People & Culture professionals to:

  • Contribute to projects that support People & Culture and business priorities
  • Support key employee lifecycle activities, including recruitment, onboarding, development and employee changes
  • Use people data, employee feedback and external insights to identify trends and recommend improvements
  • Help deliver talent, learning and organisational development initiatives
  • Build relationships with colleagues, employees and business leaders across the organisation
  • Improve People & Culture processes, systems and ways of working
  • Develop your commercial, professional and leadership capabilities
  • You’ll also take part in professional learning, workshops and development activities, supported by rotational managers, mentors and experienced colleagues.

By the end of the programme, you’ll have built broad functional experience and a strong foundation for your future career in People & Culture.

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for curious, thoughtful and commercially minded graduates who want to understand how people and culture contribute to the success of a global business.

You’ll need:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Social Sciences or a related subject, or to be on track to graduate before joining the programme
  • A genuine interest in People & Culture and the employee lifecycle
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to build effective relationships and collaborate across different teams and cultures
  • A curious and analytical mindset, with sound judgement and problem-solving ability
  • A proactive, adaptable approach and willingness to learn
  • Strong organisation and self-management skills
  • The maturity and discretion to handle sensitive information appropriately
  • Effective spoken and written English
  • The willingness to relocate internationally for a six-month assignment, subject to the relevant immigration, work-authorisation and assignment requirements

We’ll also consider applicants from other degree disciplines who can demonstrate a strong interest in People & Culture and relevant transferable skills.

Knowledge of People & Culture practices or the semiconductor industry would be helpful, but it isn’t essential.

Your potential matters as much as where you gained your experience. That experience could come from your studies, employment, internships, volunteering, extracurricular activities or other areas of your life.

What we’ll offer you

Evolve is more than a series of placements. It’s an opportunity to explore different areas of People & Culture, understand how a global business operates and discover where your strengths and interests could take you.

You’ll benefit from:

  • Structured rotations across key People & Culture specialisms
  • A six-month international assignment
  • Meaningful projects with real business impact
  • Exposure to employees, global teams and business leaders
  • Professional and leadership development
  • Support from rotational managers, mentors and experienced colleagues
  • Regular feedback to guide your development and future career
  • A global network that will grow with you
  • Building your future with us

Throughout Evolve, we’ll help you develop the experience, capabilities and connections needed for your future career.

As you approach the end of the programme, we’ll support you to identify a suitable post-programme role that builds on your strengths and experience.

Right to work

You must have the right to work in the UK and must not require visa sponsorship for this role. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship.

What happens next?

Applications close on 31 December 2026.

If your application progresses, you’ll complete our online assessments. Successful candidates will then be invited to an in-person assessment centre at our Burgess Hill site in February 2027.

The assessment centre is an opportunity for us to get to know you beyond your application and for you to meet our people, learn more about Evolve and discover what a global career in People & Culture could look like.
