Your role
As the team leader of engineered solutions at Pan Asia, you will play an important role for the profit & loss of the custom design orders. Fundamentals in your mission are to develop the Brand Portfolio Pan Asia product company custom design team, with focus on OTIF delivery and quality excellence to deliver superior value and excellent customer service.
You will establish and maintain strong co-operation with the customer centers.
Important part of your mission is to build and inspire a strong team with special focus on retention of talents and good performers and competence development.
Your day-to-day
1.Quick and professional response: you develop and maintain quick and professional operations for customer needs and requires about the custom design projects from different CCs.
2.Product Leadership: you develop and maintain reliable products which add value where customers need it and ensure in time delivery of high quality, SHE and energy saving custom designed products.
3.Cost Leadership: you ensure implementation of cost-conscious lean design and innovate for cost leading solutions. On product design you implement actions that allow us to have lower product cost than competition.
4.Short time to market: you work according to First Time Right approach through competence development and ensure a maximum re-use of components and designs.
5.Team management:Build a strong competent team, which takes ownership of their products and takes quick action to support our goal to have the most reliable products.
Your skills and experience
Experience requirements：
1. Minimum 5 years product design in engineering.
2. Experience in project management is a must.
3. Experience in oil injection screw compressor is a plus.
4. Is well acquainted with the IAT Air Products and Atlas Copco Compressor Technique organization (minimum 3 years’ experience within the Oil-inject Air product company).
5. Leadership experience in a professional engineering environment
6. Smooth with IT tools such as BPCS（SAP will be plus）, Excel, Word, Enovia...
Knowledge/Educational requirements：
1. University degree or above, major in mechanical/Elec. engineering or related area.
2. Good command of English and Mandarin (both oral and written)
3. Good software skills (MS Office), understanding of CAD software and ERP systems.
4. Familiar with DFMEA, safety review and related legal requirements.
