Bring your curiosity to work as our next Apprentice Technician. You will be part of our Operations team reporting to the Service and Site Manager.The mission of the Apprentice Technician is to support the assembly, repair, testing, and maintenance of Atlas Copco Group pumps and related equipment while developing foundational mechanical and technical skills. This entry-level role provides hands-on training in pump assembly, inspection, troubleshooting, testing, safety practices, and production support activities while contributing to daily manufacturing and service operations.
- Learn and perform mechanical fitting, alignment, and torquing using hand and power tools.
- Assist with disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of pumps and pump components under supervision.
- Conduct operational tests and inspections on completed equipment and accurately record results.
- Inspect parts and assemblies for wear, damage, defects, or quality concerns and report findings to supervisors.
- Learn and apply troubleshooting techniques and support diagnosis of mechanical issues during assembly, repair, and testing.
Your skills and experience
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Technical school, vocational training, or coursework related to mechanical systems, manufacturing, maintenance, or industrial technology preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on technical work.
- Experience using basic hand tools through school, hobby, vocational training, internships, or previous employment preferred.
Skills:
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
- Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to perform work in a manufacturing and repair shop environment, including standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 50 pounds, wearing required PPE, and exposure to loud noises.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.

Our compensation offering is designed to be locally relevant, competitive, and aligned with the expectations of current and future talent.
This position is classified locally as Paraprofessional/Skilled Trade. The actual annual gross base salary range for this position is $48,130 - $72,200. The actual compensation package will be determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria, including but not limited to the qualifications, experience, and skills demonstrated during the recruitment process.
