Your role
As a Key Account Manager - CPI, your mission is to Develop and execute an effective and successful industrial vacuum equipment sales strategy for assigned territory, markets and key customers...primarily in the Oil & Gas and Chemical Process Industries. Enhance the Division‘s and Company‘s reputation and brand image by consistently working to implement the company’s core values of commitment, interaction, and innovation.. You will report to Business Line Manager - VIN.
- Product Sales (80%) – Prospect, source, and maintain key account customers. Achieve sales goals by developing plans to identify prospects and targets in Oil & Gas and Chemical Process Industries. Follow up on leads from field and telemarketing activities. Build and maintain rapport with customers. Respond promptly to inquiries. Introduce new products and coordinate with accounts. Assess customer needs and collaborate with Product Management. Engage in prospecting to grow customer base and market share.
- Prepare, deliver, and present sales materials and promotional programs. Attend trade shows, exhibits, conferences, and other promotional events. Maintain customer base, quotations, and calendar daily.
- Prepare and present quotes, proposals, pricing, credit terms, and review conditions.
- Take necessary actions to complete tasks and maintain communication with relevant personnel.
- Personal Development (10%) – Update job knowledge on products and sales strategies through education, reading, networking, and professional organizations. Use the Learning Link Portal for growth.
- Market Analysis (5%) – Monitor economic trends affecting vacuum pump business. Report to Business Line Managers, General Manager, and Regional Sales Representatives.
- Reporting (5%) – Prepare reports on activity, lost orders, closings, follow-up, and budget performance. Report field feedback with recommendations on products, services, pricing, and competitive evaluation.
To succeed, you will need
Experience:
- 3-5 years in industrial sales required, preferably in Industrial Vacuum. Knowledge of Oil & Gas and Chemical Process Industries preferred.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or technical field, or equivalent experience.
Knowledge Areas:
- Technical understanding or Engineering background;
- Sales and territory management
- Strong planning, reporting, and organizational skills
- Good English and computer skills.
