As a Project Engineer, your mission is to manage project schedules, coordinate resources, drive NPI activities, maintain stakeholder communication, and support continuous improvement efforts while ensuring technical excellence and customer satisfaction. This role combines project management, mechanical design, product development, and cross-functional leadership to ensure successful execution of customer projects and strategic business initiatives.
You will
- Lead multiple customer and internal engineering projects from kickoff through final implementation.
- Drive New Product Introduction (NPI) and product development initiatives through stage-gate processes.
- Monitor project scope, schedule, costs, and risks to ensure successful project execution.
- Perform CAD design work and prepare component and assembly drawings using SolidWorks..
- Support manufacturing operations by resolving design, quality, and production issues.
- Assist Purchasing with component sourcing, procurement activities, and shortage resolution.
- Participate in factory acceptance testing (FAT), customer witness testing, and performance validation.
- Analyze test data and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Foster a collaborative team environment focused on operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of engineering experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Experience leading engineering projects with responsibility for scope, schedule, and deliverables.
- Demonstrated experience managing or supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) and product development projects.
- Experience working cross-functionally with manufacturing, purchasing, quality, and supply chain teams.
- Experience in supporting customer-facing projects and engineered-to-order products is preferred.
- Knowledge of vacuum systems, pump systems, skid design, piping systems, and fabrication processes is preferred.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software.
- Experience with ERP systems and BOM management.
- Strong understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and piping design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification or formal project management training is a plus.
- Experience with stage-gate product development processes.
