Your role
As a Project Manager, your mission is to serve as the primary liaison between U.S.-based customers and the Product Company in Germany, ensuring successful execution of product development and launch projects. Acting as the voice of the customer, this role manages project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and communication while driving customer satisfaction and cross-functional collaboration.
Reporting to the ADH Operations Manager, you will work closely with customers, engineering teams, and global stakeholders to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to Atlas Copco’s quality standards.
You will

Serve as the primary liaison between customers and the Product Company, ensuring effective communication and customer satisfaction.

Review RFQs, specifications, and customer requirements to develop proposals, quotations, and project plans.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, overseeing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables.

Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

Lead project meetings, provide status updates, and maintain clear communication with customers and internal stakeholders.

Monitor project costs, track change orders, and proactively resolve issues and risks.Support equipment tryouts, runoffs, installations, and project closeout activities.

Collaborate with technical and operational teams to address customer needs and project challenges.

Build strong customer relationships through responsiveness, accountability, and execution excellence.

Travel domestically and internationally as needed to support project execution and customer engagement.

- 5+ years of experience in project management, account management, or customer-facing operations.
- Bachelor’s degree (BSME or BSEE) from an accredited four-year college or university
- Experience working with German or European organizations, preferred.
- Knowledge of Electronics & Motor Vehicle Industry segments, preferred.
- German language skills, a plus.
- PMI Certification is recommended.
- Excellent oral, written and organizational communication skills plus strong interpersonal skills are required
- Must be able to work in a team environment, and have the ability to chair meetings
- Highly motivated, resourceful self-starter and able demonstrate successful performance with independent problem solving, planning & execution, and leadership within and across departments to meet changing deadlines
- Ability to work with advanced mathematical concepts, and have a high level of analytical ability
- Ability to technically define problems, collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
