Your role
As a AI Engineer - Sales and Marketing, you are the hands-on builder who turns approved AI ideas into working solutions for Sales and Marketing – creating the AI agents, building the workflows and automations, and bringing in the right data so the tools are accurate, reliable and ready to use. You work under the AI Delivery Manager, who sets priorities and follows up, while you make the delivery actually happen. The role does not own the product roadmap or replace the Product Owner, and is governed through the councils, where the delivery need and business value are highest.
You will:
- Build and configure AI agents for Sales and Marketing – turning approved use cases into working Copilot agents, prompts and skills that are accurate, tested and ready for day-to-day use.
- Design and build the workflows, automations and integrations behind each solution – connecting systems such as CRM, quoting and pricing so tasks flow end to end without manual workarounds.
- Bring in and prepare the right data – identifying, connecting, cleaning and structuring the data sources each agent or workflow needs, and keeping that data current, governed and fit for purpose.
- Test, troubleshoot and refine delivered solutions – validating outputs, fixing issues and improving accuracy and reliability so each solution is stable and supportable before and after go-live.
- Work day to day under the AI Delivery Manager – taking on prioritised tasks, keeping work items clear and up to date, flagging blockers early and delivering to agreed timelines and quality.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, business stakeholders, AI Platform Teams and Microsoft to clarify requirements, confirm technical feasibility and ensure solutions fit existing platforms, security and governance standards.
- Document what has been built and support adoption – producing clear technical documentation, demos and worked examples, and providing hands-on support so solutions are understood, trusted and maintainable.
