Role Summary
As Project Management Platform Lead, you will lead the team responsible for the governance, adoption and continuous development of Planisware as a strategic Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) platform across multiple divisions of Atlas Copco.
You will take end-to-end ownership of the Planisware platform from a governance and business perspective, ensuring that the platform remains sustainable, cost-effective, scalable and aligned with evolving business needs. This includes managing platform governance, cost, usage, growth, adoption, support and continuous improvement.
Operating in a decentralized organization, success in this role depends on your ability to create alignment and drive action across divisions, Product Companies, IT, business stakeholders and external partners, often without formal authority.
We are primarily looking for a strong project leader with a solid understanding of project and portfolio management methodologies, excellent communication skills and a proactive mindset. Advanced technical knowledge of Planisware is not required from day one. However, you will be expected to rapidly develop a strong functional understanding of the platform, allowing you to become a credible platform owner and sparring partner for business users, stakeholders and technical specialists.
This is therefore not purely a platform management role. You will be expected to take ownership, identify what needs to happen, bring the right stakeholders together and drive initiatives through to completion.
