The Role
- Work with global ME/engineering team to transfer product, include review and update product drawings, technical specifications, BOM, quality control methods, layout, etc.
- To ensure the effective and efficient process for pumps machining.
- To understand the technical requirements and product specifications, and work out the SOP for products.
- To monitor the production issue, analysis and make quickly trouble shooting about the process issues.
- To liaise with related teams to facilitate the smooth introduction of products and apply processes to the cell in order to meet quality, cycle time and cost targets.
- Make and optimize programs for CNC machines, especially for horizontal machining center, Mill turn and CNC cylindrical grinder.
- Design fixtures for parts machining.
- Design process routing for new product and transferred products.
- Operating horizontal machining center and mill turn to validate the CNC program, fixture, tooling for new machined parts. (for new product, first 3 good parts need to be machined by machining engineer instead of operator, to validate the process and reduce serious risk on new parts machining)
- Optimize process to get safer process, higher productivity and lower cost.
- Improve machining process through process optimization, digitalization, etc…
- Train operators on manufacturing process and specific operating details.
- Communicate with person who is related in work to finish working task, include contact with foreign engineers via call and email, or work face to face in English.

Education level:

Bachelor or above
|

Relevant previous experience:
|
- At least 5 years of experience in machining. Has experience in pumps, compressors, engines, motors is preferred.
- Experience in 5S, safety, lean activities in workshop is required.
- Experience in quality related and other improvement projects through multi-department teams is preferred.
- Prefer good computer programing skill, like Java, Python, etc, or PLC programming skill
- Prefer skill on database programing

Language skills:

Good communication skills, can communicate in both Chinese and English.

Other skills and knowledge:
|
Able to understand and interpret product drawings, structures, technology requirements in English, and work out SOP, communicate these effectively across a broad range of people.
Good at trouble shooting on production daily basis.
