Your role
As a Manufacturing Engineering Team Lead your mission is to be fully responsibility for the planning, execution, prioritization, and support of the Manufacturing Flow Excellence function throughout Ceres Technologies. The MFE Team Lead is expected to be a highly visible leader who can effectively lead both directly and through influence. Success in this position requires the ability to align diverse teams, drive enterprise-wide initiatives, build strong cross-functional partnerships, and create a culture focused on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement across all Ceres Technologies sites and regions.
Main Responsiblities:
- Directly leads and develops a team of up to 15 employees across multiple Ceres Technologies sites and operational zones.
- Responsible for the full staffing lifecycle of the MFE organization, including workforce planning, recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance management, coaching, development, succession planning, and employee engagement.
- Establishes team priorities and allocates resources to support business objectives, manufacturing initiatives, and customer requirements.
- Ensures the MFE team is appropriately staffed and trained to support operational growth, new product introductions, process improvements, and strategic business initiatives.
- Provides leadership, mentorship, and career development opportunities for team members while promoting a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Conducts performance evaluations, establishes individual development plans, and drives talent development across the organization.
- Developing and executing the MFE team strategy aligned with company operational objectives.
- Managing department workload, priorities, and resource allocation across all sites.
- Supporting Operations, Engineering, Facilities, Project Management, Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics, and Quality teams with manufacturing process expertise.
- Ensuring successful execution of work order processes, manufacturing readiness activities, capacity improvements, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Leading cross-site standardization efforts and sharing best practices between manufacturing locations.
- Supporting the deployment and sustainment of VTPS initiatives while partnering with designated VTPS leadership.
- Driving continuous improvement activities that improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity performance.
- Acting as the primary escalation point for manufacturing process and workflow challenges requiring MFE support.
- Building strong partnerships with site leadership teams to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives across all Ceres Technologies locations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration,the MFE Team Lead will routinely partner with multiple departments across Ceres Technologies.
- Lead strategic operational improvement projects from concept through implementation.
- Coordinate cross-site initiatives that improve manufacturing performance and standardization.
- Support facility expansions, equipment implementations, automation projects, and process improvements.
- Track project metrics and communicate progress to leadership teams.
- Ensure projects achieve measurable business results and sustainable improvements.

Skills/Knowledge/ Expierence:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Business, or related discipline preferred.
- 5+ years of manufacturing, operations, engineering, continuous improvement, or project leadership experience.
- Experience supporting multiple manufacturing sites and cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing readiness processes.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead initiatives without direct authority.

Salary: $90,000-$100,000/ per year

This role requires you to work on-site at our office in Saugerties, New York. You will be part of a dynamic team and enjoy the benefits of face-to-face collaboration.
