Job Description

Your role

Bring your curiosity to work as our next Divisional Manager Manufacturing Infrastructure. You will be part of our global divisional Operations team reporting to the Vice President of Global Operations. In this role, your mission is to develop and implement the division’s long-term strategy and standards for manufacturing buildings, land, infrastructure, utilities, facility management, and sustainable site development. You ensure that capacity, space, utilities, and infrastructure are aligned with current and future business needs, enabling safe, compliant, efficient, and future-ready operations across the global Product Company network.

Your day-to-day

  • Shape the manufacturing infrastructure and footprint strategy by translating business and capacity requirements into technically and economically sound concepts for factories, buildings, utilities and site development.

  • Lead and provide engineering expertise for major industrial infrastructure projects, including factory expansions, relocations, greenfield developments and modernization projects, from technical concept and specifications through commissioning and handover.

  • Drive energy management and energy efficiency across the manufacturing network, analyzing energy consumption and infrastructure, identifying optimization potential, and developing technical solutions for energy efficiency, decarbonization and renewable energy.
  • Define engineering standards and technical requirements for industrial buildings, utilities, energy systems and facility infrastructure, ensuring reliability, lifecycle performance, sustainability and compliance with applicable technical and regulatory requirements.
  • Assess and optimize existing factory infrastructure and technical assets, including capacity, condition, utilization, lifecycle costs and investment needs, and translate findings into site master plans and investment roadmaps.
  • Act as a technical sparring partner for Product Companies and key stakeholders, providing engineering guidance on infrastructure investments, energy management, site development and major facility projects while sharing standards and best practices across the division.

Your skills and experience

  • Masters Degree in Engineering combined with substantial experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong engineering expertise in industrial infrastructure, utilities and major factory projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of energy management and energy efficiency, including the technical assessment and optimization of industrial energy systems.
  • Experience with factory expansions, relocations, greenfield developments or infrastructure modernization.
  • Strong project management and business acumen, including CAPEX, lifecycle-cost and risk considerations.
  • Strategic yet hands-on approach, with the ability to influence and collaborate across countries and functions.
  • Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage.

We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every single requirement. We value diverse experiences and perspectives and are excited to see what you bring to the role.

Your location

This role can be based globally and requires a high degree of international mobility to support our operations worldwide, including regular travel to China and India.
