General Vacuum Europe, part of the Atlas Copco Group, is seeking an experienced and ambitious Process Vacuum Channel Manager to join our growing European team.
The Process Vacuum Business Line, part of the Industrial Vacuum Division, represents the Edwards brands across Europe. Focused on key industries including Chemical Processing, Energy, Food Processing, Metallurgy, and Carbon Capture (CCUS), our ambition is to be the leading Process Vacuum solutions provider in Europe. You will ideally be located in the Nordics or Eastern Europe.
As Channel Manager, Process Vacuum Europe, you will drive business growth across the Nordics and Eastern Europe by developing and managing a network of distributors and partners. You will be responsible for delivering order intake and revenue targets, building strategic partnerships, and supporting channel partners to grow market share and win new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve Process Vacuum sales targets across the assigned territory.
- Identify, appoint, and develop high-performing distributors and channel partners.
- Define and execute joint business plans and performance KPIs.
- Provide commercial, technical, and application support to partners.
- Deliver channel training on products, applications, and sales best practices.
- Support key customer pursuits, EPC engagement, and strategic account development.
- Conduct joint customer visits and assist with major sales opportunities.
- Monitor pipeline development, forecasting, and CRM reporting.
- Collaborate with Customer Centres, Application Teams, and VTS colleagues to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
- Act as Key Account Manager for selected direct accounts where required.
Travel: Approximately 50% across the region.
To succeed, you will need
- Degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven experience in channel management, business development, or sales of complex industrial equipment.
- Strong understanding of the Process Vacuum market and its applications. Vacuum technology knowledge is advantageous.
- Commercially astute, with experience managing contracts, negotiations, and business risk.
- Results-driven and proactive, with the ability to build, motivate, and influence partner networks.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Customer-focused with excellent listening and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the region (approximately 50%).
- Be located in Nordics/ Scandinavia or Eastern Europe region
