Job Description

Your Role

As VTBA AI Transformation Lead, you will lead the People & Culture workstream within VTBA’s wider business AI transformation programme. You will connect the business strategic AI opportunities with their people and organisational implications, turning ambition into a structured, integrated and actionable transformation roadmap.

This role reports into VT People & Culture and is a key enabler of the wider VTBA business AI transformation programme, working across the business with internal and external stakeholders to drive people, capability and adoption outcomes.

Partnering closely with the overall AI programme acceleration office and AI Academy Manager, you will help ensure that priority AI initiatives are supported by the right capabilities, operating model, leadership commitment and change approach. You will also play a key role in building an AI-ready workforce, ensuring employees and leaders have the skills, confidence and support needed to adopt AI and realise value at scale.

Your day-to-day

  • Lead the VTBA People & Culture roadmap for the AI transformation programme.
  • Translate priorities into clear workstreams, milestones, ownership and governance.
  • Identify the people, skills, role, workflow and organisational impacts of AI adoption.
  • Lead change, adoption, leadership enablement, communications and engagement activities.
  • Establish and maintain a business wide AI champions network and community of practice to accelerate learning, collaboration and capability building.
  • Align AI Academy activities with programme priorities to drive adoption and value realization.
  • Build alignment across VTBA and maintain clear specialist and local ownership.
  • Monitor progress, risks, dependencies, adoption and benefits to support executive decision-making.
  • Ensure successful transition of new approaches into sustainable business-as-usual ownership.

Your skills and experience

You will be an experienced People & Culture or organisational transformation professional with a strong track record of leading complex, cross-functional change. You can create structure from ambiguity, connect business and people priorities, and move diverse stakeholders towards practical decisions.
You will also bring:

  • Experience leading enterprise transformation workstreams from definition through delivery and adoption.
  • Strong change management, stakeholder engagement and facilitation capability.
  • Practical AI literacy and an understanding of responsible AI-enabled ways of working.
  • Knowledge of workforce planning, capability building, role and workflow redesign, and talent approaches.
  • Strong programme disciplines across governance, risk, dependencies, prioritisation and benefits.
  • Commercial awareness and a focus on measurable value rather than activity alone.
  • The confidence to engage senior stakeholders, challenge constructively and communicate complex topics clearly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
