Your role
You will be part of our Welder Fabricator team reporting to Production Supervisor. Your mission is to build high-quality components that meet the exacting standards of our customers.. You will contribute directly to how we create high‑quality products and solutions for our customers.
Your day-to-day
- Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy piping to required specifications.
- Fabricate parts and structures according to project requirements using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Inspect welds for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as needed to meet ISO 9001 and customer standards.
- Operate fork trucks, overhead cranes, jib cranes, and other mobile equipment for material movement.
This role involves standing for extended periods, working in a temperature-variable environment.
Your skills and experience
- 2+ years of hands-on welding experience, including MIG, TIG, and ARC welding.
- Strong knowledge of metal properties and structural fabrication, including stainless steel.
- Able to operate fabrication tools such as pipe rollers, beveling machines, and orbital welding systems.
- Experience working with preheat, interpass temperature control, and post‑weld heat treatment (PWHT).
- Proficiency in pipe preparation: beveling, root gap setup, fit up, and alignment.
- Excellent measuring and math skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends, is essential based on business needs
- Experience with piping runs and stainless-steel operations (code compliance preferred).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently under deadlines.
- Welding certification or trade school education is a plus.

- Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams).
- Layout, align, and secure pipe sections using clamps, supports, and fixtures.
- Ability to follow standardized procedures with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team
- Reliability and a safety‑focused mindset
- Mandatory physical requirements: Must be able to consistently lift 35 lbs., squat, bend, and perform physical tasks as required. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination are important.

This position is based at our Product Company in Michigan City IN,South Bend,IN,Chesterton IN, United States (US). Standard shifts are 8 hours. Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends, is essential based on business needs.
