Your role
Bring your curiosity to work as our next Transport Engineer. You will be part of our Transport Team reporting to the Team Leader Transport. In this role, your mission is to manage and optimize transport flows within your portfolio by balancing cost, service, and operational efficiency. You will contribute directly to delivering reliable logistics solutions that support our customers and business operations.
Your day-to-day
- Manage transport flows within your assigned portfolio.
- Optimize communication and logistics processes between distribution centers, product companies, sales companies, and suppliers.
- Analyze transport performance, costs, and service levels to identify improvement opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within transport applications and systems.
- Collaborate closely with shipping coordinators to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Support the development and implementation of logistics best practices and process improvements.
Your skills and experience
- Master's degree in Business Engineering, Applied Economics (TEW), Supply Chain, Logistics, or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to translate data insights into process improvements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are considered an asset.
- Proactive, autonomous, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a passion for logistics and optimization.

Your job location
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at Airpower in Wilrijk; Antwerp, Belgium (BE).
